Competition Rules

General Rules

  • Use of Large Language Models (LLM) for problem-solving is not allowed, including ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar tools
  • No external assistance is permitted during the competition, including calculators, external help, or pre-prepared code templates
  • No communication tools are allowed other than the competition computer
  • Participants can report issues during the competition through the designated Discord channel
  • In case of tied scores, ranking will be determined by submission time for each problem, ordered from earliest to latest
  • The judges' decisions are final
  • Any form of cheating will result in removal from the scoreboard and disqualification from receiving certificates, even if prizes were won

TOI-Zero Rules

  • Any programming language can be used (C, Python, C++ recommended)
  • Competition duration: 3 hours
  • Number of problems: 10
  • Maximum total score: 1000 points
  • No cash prizes

Pre-TOI21 Rules

  • Programming languages limited to C or C++ only
  • Competition duration: 2 days, 3 hours per day
  • Number of problems: 3 per day, total 6 problems
  • Maximum total score: 600 points
  • Total prize pool: 5,000 THB
